Janice has taught yoga classes in various work spaces including IBM, BSI, Amnesty and CABE.
Yoga@work classes can be held on site at a practical time of the day such as just after work, lunchtime or early morning.
All that is required is a space to practise in such as a conference room, and yoga mats.
Yoga teaches techniques of deep and thorough relaxation and concentration. A yoga practise taken seriously and practiced regularly can considerably help to relieve mental stress, improve focus and increase energy levels which in turn can improve productivity.
The physical stretches can help to relieve aching and tight muscles caused from poor posture in front of the computer and can help to prevent and/or offer considerable relief from specific work related complaints such as back and neck pain, stiffness, headaches, low energy levels, depression and RSI.
